My PSA for the week: please keep your child rear-facing as long as their seat will allow (or really at least age 2). 1 year old is an absolute minimum. Kids’ heads are so heavy, and their spinal cords so delicate, they really run the risk of major, major injury or death when they are in accident forward-facing. This video says it best…please watch and pass on. And keep your kids backwards…I love you all and your kids too much to let anything happen!

Oh and by the way…this is why car seats expire. Watch as the harness literally rips right out of the seat!
